So my niece's school is getting closed all this week because a 3rd grader came down with it in her school on Wed. Well she's going to stay with us all week because shes only 11 and my mom, her grandparents, are going to watch her.... I gotta say, I'm paranoid as hell!!!!! They say it could take up to 2 weeks to show symptoms!

So pray for me I don't get the Swine Flu! I already said first time she coughs or sneezes im kicking her out of the house. Kicking my sisters *** if I get it. Shes paying for the medical bills!

Yeah basically. its treatable for us, but theres been like 80 people die in mexico and thats where its basically coming from. the kid at her school just came back from a trip to mexico!

what are the symptoms? just regular flu syptoms?

yeah. we have the anti biotics to fight it and if treated its not a huge deal but if someone were to just chalk it up as a regular flu and not treat it they would die.

girl isnt dying, 9 yr old boy has it. my niece is 11 and thats just creepy

I think its much ado about nothing. People always make things like this a huge deal. I saw lots of chinks wearing masks while I was in Greece.... probably still paranoid from the whole sars thing.

yep north ridgeville, next to elyria which is where the kid is that has it. my niece goes to school with the kid that has it. they are shutting down the school all week to disinfect it.
