i personally run the rf power series of that year, silver casing blue led rite? good power for the size, its actually a mono, not a 2 channel. ran one on full tilt on a road trip to vegas... the 551x and it held up like a champ, so its a **** good amp. the 501bd i had blew, and its in the process of getting repaired, i have no idea what happened, but other than that.. its a good amp. no complaints, they're just harder to find nowadays.

i had an older power 1000a1, was an awesome amp.

BTW the 1 stands for 1 channel...not a 2 channel

i just copied and pasted what he put, but 1 channel is awesome, cuz i think a type r would love this amp
