seen both the illusionist and the prestige.

I personally thought the illusionist was better. the prestige takes that dark turn, but is still very good.

I have also seen both and liked the illusionist better, why, cause I can remember the illusionist and not the prestige and I just seen the prestige, lol!

Prestige was excellent, I feel asleep during the illusionist. I was sitting in the illusionist expecting a twist and when it came, it was boring. The prestige simply trumped the illusionist in all ways. Only thing I didn't like was the stupid machine that Tesla supposedly built that made a duplicate of something. If you're going to use a real inventor, use a real device? Please.

It is a tough call between the two for me. I'm a big Edward Norton fan, but an even bigger Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan fan. Additionally, I've read "The Prestige" novel by Christopher Priest, which was even better than the movie.

And Scarlett > Jessica Biel.

And any movie that talks about Tesla is worth a viewing.

lawl me too.

but i just saw the illusionist and i was quite dissapointed. i guessed what happened to the girl the second i saw that bottle that he wrapped in and put in the suitcase.

and they never explained the 'ghosts'.

the illusionist was a good movie, but not nearly as well thought out as the prestige. i seriously only figured out what was happening when i saw him complete his last performance. and even then i didnt realize the full scope. i had to watch it a second and third time to fully understand it and get all the subtleties.
