I'm supposed to leave at 8 PM tonight...some guy strolls in at 7:30, wants rear speakers installed.

I tell him no, I've got a half hour till I leave and I've still got to clean up the shop.

He says he's going to go get a manager to "authorize me to stay late to work on his car"

I almost kicked the ever-loving shit out of him...

Manager strolls to the back (with ******* customer), asks if we have time to work on his car, I say nope, he tells the guy, "sorry, it's too late"

Who the **** says that? Honestly?

dude what we do here at roadshop is.. we say sir unless you are getting those 150$ speakers with 4 years and install we MIGHT do it... if not we will get ya in next week lol. and they get pissed... LOL we laugh and go too the break room

We have about $1k per day stolen from our store about every day. Today I handed a cash refund of over $300 to someone I know (or atleast would bet my paycheck) who stole.

all in a day's work I suppose.

hah yeah i have one too while we're at it, a guy wanted to knwo what the end of one of the connection cables in a satellite radio box looked like.. i told him it was probably like this (showed him an example), and then he asked if i would open the box to make sure.

sorry sir, but i cant break through the packaging to open it or else it would have to be marked as an open item.

so he says ohh ok i understand the red tape thing.. and then turns around and rips the whole side off the package.. i just shook my head and stared at him in disbelief. then he put the f*cked up package right back on the shelf.
