I was thourougly dissappointed. IT was a pretty funn experience though because the theatre was full and 80% of the people there went to my school, and everone laughed through the whole movie lol....

lol , ya it did.. and when she closed the Mirror and the MOM of the child popped up looked like the Creature costume in the village

haha i remember watching the previews and thought i saw that. went back and watched it in slow-motion... looked almost identical (at least to me) to the village creature things. weird???

If you saw the original...It pretty much follows the exact same plot line. Even down to some dialouge.
