i agree on finally doing things for others. ive got a little padding in my pocket this holiday season so i plan on doing what i can.

i hate it because this is the first year in the last 3 or 4 that i can't really afford to buy anyone anything. years past I was in highschool a steady job providing nice income and had nothing to pay off.

now im in college with no job and i can't afford to buy people shit, so it kinda sucks

Well I guess im lucky this year...Im at college and this SHOULD, be one of the larger christmas' that I will ever get. Mom is getting a bonus (Works at a law firm) and with her christmas bonus she wants me to set up an HT and her and dad are going to find the TV. So Im going to get about a 2500.00 shopping spree at Parts Express and Madisound, and a few other places...ie places to buy the reciever and amplifiers. Should be a nice little addition to the home. And Im hoping to get them to get me a Termlab this christmas, and the rest of my relatives combind should send me enough cash to purchase another 20.1

haha, my dad also works for a lawfirm (Business attorney) and just finished helping a life-long friend sell his company for a little over $320 million. he wrote my dad a $100k check on the side, in addition to the lawyers fees, so my dad wants a SQ setup in his tundra, and wants to lift it slightly with some larger tires and rims. me having alot more experience in those areas, he's basically giving me his checkbook and free reign

i'm not asking for much for myself though, them paying for my college, in addition to all the spending money, etc they've given me the last couple of a months. thats enough for me.

yeah b/c that's not much. i know college varies but my tuition and books are over 10k so that's a bit to a lot of people.
