The most laid back job seriously

yeh so far ive liked my jobs making commission but they were also riding around to diff houses not trapped at one place, dont have to clock in just goto the office in the morning and then leave and go home when u get a chance for lunch or get home early in the afternoon

The only thing that would make my job better would be making commission.

On an average day I'll easily sell $2000-3000 worth of stuff (I work in a golf store), but we aren't commissioned. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

What kind of money are you making at tweeter? Unless I get more hours at my current job, I think I'm going to look for another supplemental job.

Got too many bills and too many hobbies. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

It all depends on what you sell. If you sell a normal Plasma with home installation(there are like so many other things you can sell)

A buddy of mine just sent out a quote for a job thats 25,000 for a brand new home to be build and after base comission and modifiers on the stores profit, hes going to net about 2 grand or so(if the couple decides to take our proposal.

I know a guy that makes 90k a year in towson. so I would say anywhere from 25k-endless if you know what your doing. They start you off at $800 every 2 weeks guranteed for the first 3 months you work here though, after that your own your own pretty much.

That's still not bad pay for starting off.....

Maybe I'll stop by a tweeter and see whats up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

What is your base pay though? Are you hourly or salary on top of commission?

Eh, i'm not entirely a fan of straight-commission based pay.

Too many factors can really screw up your pay. Have a slow day with a bunch of tire-kickers=no money.

That and depending on the number of employees and who works there, there could be a lot of back stabbing happening.

I guess I'll just stick with what I got and hope for more hours. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i've been looking for a new job. thinking about getting certified to install and doing that, but all of the shops i've been to around here are the tools that will lie through their teeth to get you to buy shit you dont need, anytime i go in for wire or something i'll strike up a conversation just for a couple laughs, i never call them out or anything.

was thinking about the post office, but they aren't really hiring right now. anyone got any suggestions? i dont mind busting my ***, but i wont work for less than 10 an hour. i've got a lot of experience running and maintaining heavy printing equipment but i'm sick of that industry.

It all depends on what you like to do. I would rather personally work and physically do soemthing instead of sitting in front of a computer all day.
I don't work all day, just about 3-4 hours a day around this time. If I'm on ca.com, then I'm working.

Well considering 3 of the top 5 people here just left for other jobs that paid higher(upper management salary etc) I have a good shot here. Yeah you have off days but you make up for those days in other days. Reguardless Im happy with 800 every 2 weeks plus half comission right now. I would have made about $300 on the stuff I sold today but I made my hourly pay and $150 which isnt too shabby for only doing 2 sales all day.

my job is pretty cool, I make $8.50/hr with plenty of overtime if i want it, and commission, all i do is sell people car washes and it averages out to about $700-$800 a month bonus after taxes. It's not even really much of a sales job since the services pretty much sell themselves, I look at it more as merely just getting paid extra to hand off receipts. Oh, and I only work 4 days a week which gives me plenty of time for school ftw.
