x2. The fightin' phils are my team win or lose, although they didn't do any winning against the rockies.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

And although I hate to say it, the mets should have went. I think they would have have a better chance. Even though they had a bad finish at the end of the regular season, they stood a better chance in the playoffs Imo.

Guerrero struck out 62 times, if you can honestly sit there and say Vladimir Guerrero, the notorious bad ball hitter, has more plate discipline then Ichiro or Granderson, then you aren't making the connection between good contact vs. plate discipline.

Granderson has more hits, 2B, 3B, XBH, higher BA, Slugging %, OPS then Sizemore, and even though Sizemore had 7 more stolen bases, he was caught 10 times vs. Granderson's 1 caught stealing.

This is only Granderson's 2nd full season, Sizemore has been in the bigs, what 4 full seasons and Granderson is already catching up.

You said last year Carl Crawford was better then Granderson ever will be. I'm just calling you out on it. The fact you would take Crawford over Sizemore or Granderson shows how retarded you are. Both are superior players to Crawford.

Sizemore also walked 101 times. That tells me he has more plate discipline then Granderson. Both are almost mirror images of each other.
This stats were so similar it really would be retarded to argue about it anymore. Granderson had a terrific year and Sizemore did his thing. I say again though, only one is still playing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif As far as me taking Crawford over either, I will still stick to that. Crawford is a beast at the plate and in the field. He plays on a shit *** team and if he was on any other team he would get more credit. Guy gets close to 200 hits a season, steals bases like it is nothing and is something else with the glove. He might not be a huge power hitter, but is not his thing. He can knock them out once in a while though. Is about the only thing Sizemore or Granderson have over him. You really can't compare the stats being Crawford has played more than Sizemore and Granderson. Not taking anything away from either player as I think Sizemore and Granderson will be future all stars if not more. Just wish Crawford could play on another team to show his skills.

See Andruw Jones is a great athlete in CF. The reason he has to flop around all the time is because he is always out of position, and has to recover. IMO the best defensive CF I have seen in today's game is Vernon Wells. He just has the uncanny ability to be at the right place at the right time. I don't know how many times I saw a ball hit to the gap and thinking it would drop for a sure double, but Wells was there to catch it. He gets great breaks on the ball and positions himself well and is so graceful in CF. To me that is a great CF. Yes Jones will dive around and be on highlight films, but if he played his position as well as Wells, he wouldn't need to be diving around all the time.
I agree about him not being in position and getting bad breaks on balls. Steve Finley is the best CF I've seen play the field.... and I'm not saying that because he was a D-Back. He cought every ball with two hands and covered a lot of ground. You need the good fundamentals to excell..... though he got screwed in the 99 NLDS at Shea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I'm just hoping they trade Renteria to Detroit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Is Detroit willing to move a starter?

Renteria is expendable with the emergence of Escobar. The Braves pen should be pretty good if they add another arm, as they were killed by injuries this year. The starting rotation is bad though- if they pick up Glavine and another starter, they'll have a pretty solid rotation.
