I really don't think Randolph is to blame. This is what happens when you spend money on over the hill pitchers.
LOL I bet the Mets are kicking themselves about that one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifMost strikeouts in majors....SCOTT KAZMIR
LETS GO METS!
One of the worst trades in recent history.LOL I bet the Mets are kicking themselves about that one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
I don't know much about the Mets bullpen, but it seems the manager is always to blame for the bullpen. Leyland has taken a lot of criticism for the Tigers bullpen. In New York I guess you would get fired after back-to-back winning seasons. The Mets really need to overhaul their rotation. Glavine, Pedro, El Duque is not the answer.IMO he did a bad job managing his bullpen.
Is he to blame for the Mets falloff? Partially, yes- everyone in the organization is to blame. I think Willie will not come back after this season, though.
The Carlos Guillen and Placido Polanco trades were bad trades. One of the worst trades in recent history.
I think they're still paying Zambrano.
Same thing with Grilli. I thought the Mets had a great bullpen last year? Detroit's excuse was that Zumaya and Rodney were injured.I think Glavine is gone. Pedro is nothing of what he used to be, and El Duque put together a good season, but I wouldn't count on him to repeat it next year.
Willie just kept brining in Mota, and everytime I watched him pitch, he blew up, costing the Mets several games. He was HORRIBLE, but kept getting called upon.
Jesus, that would **** for the MLB.Oh yeah, go Padres! I called back in the beginning that I would like to see Cleveland vs SanDiego. Rockies are playing like trojan warriors though.
