Then you go off rambling how all the Chicago teams are > than all the Detroit teams when Slammed isn't even a Detroit fan. I mean how can someone be so far off base?? Slammed has EVERY right to root on his team win or lose. Atleast he sticks with his team through the good times and the bad times. He didn't just jump on another bandwagon when his team was eliminated like you did with the Tigers. BTW, stop talking shit like you want the Tigers to win the WS because you ARE in fact a Sox fan and US Tigers fans don't want your support in any way. Tigers fans didn't care if the Sox fans won the WS last year so why would you care if the Tigers won it this year.? A REAL Sox fan would be setting their sights on next season and not give 2 shits about this World Series.
So please, let it go for this season and get ready to talk shit in the 2007 version of the MLB thread as your team (Chicago White Sox) have gone home for the year as you should do.

All I have to say is did anyone honestly think this years world series would be between the Cardinals and the Tigers? I know I didnt.

i blame the team, not in a bad way they just got outplayed. Cards got amazing pitching from decent pitchers at the right time and that is what you need in the playoffs. I do not disagree with randolph leaving heilman in, it was a tie game and he was doing a great job in the 8th. If the game went to extras and the mets used wagner in the 9th people would be ripping randolph for using wagner to early. It my opinion this was a great season as a mets fan, somewhat I am dissappointed they didn't make the WS but they improved dramatically over so many of the past few years teams and I look forward to next year.
I would of loved to see the mets with a full pitching staff but theres nothing I or anyone could of done to change that. Ive got my money for season tickets for next year already set aside, the mets got a great look at some new pitchers (maine and perez) this year and maine is a proven capable starter and I think with some more work perez could become a relieable starter also. The team chemistry is very good and i really hope that to not to many roster changes are made, we could use another starting pitcher i would love if it could be zito, I think cliff is done in ny even though he was a great team player this year. The future with reyes and wright looks great, so as a mets fan i couldn't be more excited for the years to come. enough rambling, but today I am setting my WS prediction as mets v tigers next year in a great WS with alot of young pitching being the focal point of the series.

Ahhh, where to start.. Ok, first off, unless you are up to date with the current arguments, dont try to jump in and pretend to know what you are talking about.. I was saying SOX> mets because of this quote from Slammed,

2. If he isnt a detroit fan..he should be saying stuff like Pistons> Bulls, Detroits WNBA team > Chicago's (when i could care less about that sport in the first place) and it went on from there.. so again.. SHUTUP
3. I have been giving credit to the Tigers all season. They are a great, solid team. B. I love Mags, have always been a fan so that adds to my support to the Tigers. C. All the sportscasters have been saying ALL SEASON that the Tigers look like the WhiteSox of last year, WHO WON THE WS. So there are just 3 of many reasons why I am rooting for the Tigers.. but there are more
4. About the bandwagon... how in the hell would you know if I have been a whitesox fan or a cubs fan, or some other fan until the Sox started playing good?? Really??? I have been a Sox fan my whole life.. I fucking hate the cubs... almost as much as the Mets.... although I hate mets fans more than the team..where are the cubs I hate both, because they talk crap like a mets fan, only they actually ****. I HATE Wrigely Field..its the biggest piece of crap in baseball. The IVY in the outfield... HATE IT!
5. If you want to start talking about next year... I dont see the Sox getting anything but better. Their offense is solid, that is only going to get better. When talking about the 2nd half for pitching, I dont think it could get much worse, so again, that can only get better. Not saying that this isnt the same case for the Mets or the Tigers, or anyone else.

Anyway, impressive win by St. Louis. I guess they are really shinning when it counts. Still cant believe they are in the WS. Then again cant believe Detriot is either.
