wow what a win by detroit. craig keystone monroe is my new hero. new york was 1 strike away from winning. hopefully this win gets detroit back on the right track. the tigers are finishing the toughest month of their schedule so hopefully they can make a good playoff push. this game should really jump start them. minnesota got a jump start way back when they were able to come from behind on todd jones, so hopefully the tigers will do the same.

There is no way for the mets to be prepared for the playoffs vs. teams like us, twins, tigers, and yanks. They havent played anyone as good as all 4 of these teams...except 1 of them really. They have no idea the competition they could face. Show me some stats showing that they can beat these teams. Show me where the Mets are leading these teams... ERA... NOPE... HR's NOPE runs scored.. this may not be the tigers year, but they are gonna be a force for years to come. right now they have bonderman, verlander, zumya who are all 23 and under. ledezma is 25, maroth 26, plus andrew miller and humberto sanchez in the minors. also maybin could be the tigers leadoff hitter in the future, wich would be able to move granderson down in the lineup where he is a better fit, plus shelton if he can get his swing back, and detroit is willing to spend money and can sign free agents
