chicago's players and fans talk shit about beating the tigers but look at it this way. chicago has not showed me they can win AT detroit. they have lost 4 of the last 5 games at detroit. yes chicago has handled their business at home against detroit, but if playoffs started today, detroit would have home field throughout the playoffs, and chicago would have to win at detroit. kenny rogers gives another strong performance. he really is wearing out isn't he phat? along with verlander's skyrocketing era. what was that mid 4's you said? you really need to worry about contreras and garcia and buehrle, instead of talking shit about rogers and verlander //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif even if detroit looses the next 2, they won't loose any ground

could tell miner didn't have it early. glad leyland pulled him early. tigers let this get away. that pitch crede hit for a homerun was ridiculous. can't blame that on miner. if crede can hot a one handed homerun in comerica below his knees, i tip my cap to him. the tigers get too excited. 9th inning granderson works a walk, but monroe and young get out on 2 pitches. need more plate disipline. i know they were probably sitting on the fastball, but still make him work.
