'87 was a long time ago wasn't it. Yeah, I want them in the playoffs too but I don't see them winning it all but you have to admit the future looks bright for the Tigers at this point.

well if they win the division and the overall best record, i think they have a decent shot at winning the alds. they'll likely play texas or oakland wich they can beat, but if they get the wild card they'll have to go on the road, and play either boston or new york and i don't see them beating either team, however this tigers team reminds me a lot of chicago last year.

Speaking of hte Yanks, Randy looked good tonight. First time in a while I've seen his velocity getting up there. He was consistently hitting 95 mph. Lately I had seen him between 91-93. Not that 2 mph is a lot, but it's possible he wasn't 100% when he was struggling badly.
