A good buddy of mine was clocked at 67mph at 11 at a baseball camp.

He pitched throughout high school, got up to the low/mid 80's.

It also helped that he was 5'11" at 11, too. Hasn't grown an inch since.

Was he throwing off the mound or playing catch? The way I gather, our friend here was throwing 70 MPH playing a nice game of catch.

Same here. I hit 5-10 at 13 and never grew another inch.

There is no way a 12 year old is throwing 70 MPH catch in their back yard. I've seen Pudge clocked at around 55-60 MPH throwing back to the pitcher, so I doubt a 12 year old was throwing 70 MPH.

i already said of course every throw i ever made was NOT 70mph or faster you dumbass....but i didnt have to be from a full fawkin windeup to do so like you think you have to be......ur so stupid its unbelievable.....you say its impossible that i threw 70 from the stretch as a kid, but then you say verlander throws mid 90 from the stretch.....is he super human? by your thinking i guess so...moron

i threw 87 this past summer..

listen, next summer please educate yourself and go watch an AAU little league baseball game..im not talking llws crap im talking AAU, Mickey Mantle league where kids travel all over the US to play......i will almost guarantee you will find a 12-13 yr old kid that can hit 80 mph....

I remember a few years ago they were interviewing a couple kids that played in leagues other then the LLWS, and they said the LLWS is a joke compared to other leagues out there.

I remember a few years ago they were interviewing a couple kids that played in leagues other then the LLWS, and they said the LLWS is a joke compared to other leagues out there.

the llws is basically just your local cities recreational team that wins the city tournament and then if they win the state tournament they are your states representative in the national tournament....its really not that big of a deal....
