Doesn't mean he has bad plate discipline...if he recognizes what he's swinging at...and knows he can hit it...then that's not bad plate discipline.Yes he's hitting those pitches which means he is a good contact hitter.
Granderson takes too big of a swing with 2 strikes. He needs to choke up and make contact.Doesn't mean he has bad plate discipline...if he recognizes what he's swinging at...and knows he can hit it...then that's not bad plate discipline.
BTW...I read where Leyland himself says Granderson has to work on his plate discipline //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
yes!!!Also why on earth did Jeter stay at SS when A-rod came? A-rod was a gold glover at SS and Jeter is better at going back on a ball and has a strong arm which would make him a better 3rd basemen.
Jeter would then be average if he moved to 3rd. At SS he can be overrated and over hyped.yes!!!
I have been asking Yankee fans this question....most of them tell me that Jeter is better at SS.
The rest tell me not to question the organization with 26 rings.

His K/BB ratio didn't improve all that much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifGranderson takes too big of a swing with 2 strikes. He needs to choke up and make contact.
Also I believe Leyland said that after last year //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
His strikeouts went down by 30, and he had more hits. He made contact more often this year vs. last year. Last year all you had to do was get 2 strikes on him, and throw him a breaking pitch out of the zone and he was done. Unlike Craig Monroe, Granderson improved on this. Hopefully he works on it some more. His K/BB ratio didn't improve all that much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
He did make a great jump in average, though.
Whatever happened to Nook Logan? I remember reading something about him being the fastest player in baseball...His strikeouts went down by 30, and he had more hits.
