I wish Detroit played in the NL central //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
In other news, Guillen will be moved to 1B next year. This could open up a trade for Renteria or possibly an A-rod signing, but that is a pipe dream.
I betcha you get pissed for signing Casey and not keeping Carlos Pena, lol!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Pipe dream is correct! Kinda like you guys doing anything again next year. I know, you will always have your, but if it wasn't for the injuries excuse. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I'm more proud of this year's Tigers team. To put up a winning season with this many injuries and still be in the playoff race to the end is pretty remarkable. Cleveland is the Detroit of 2006. Pretty much injury free and caught a lot of breaks the whole season.
God you are a dumbass! When you played Cleveland this year for the most part you couldnt hang. Don't bring up the whole injurey thing because you still had your best players in there and we even beat your ace twice. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Also Cleveland had quite a few injuries in the beginning. Lee, Nixon, Marte, Delluccii all missed sometime with Delluccii and Marte being out for most of the year. Granted pretty much all the players that replaced them did a lot better than they could have any way. Lee is a huge dissappointment for us though. He needs to get his shit together or I say trade or cut him.

Only 1 of Detroit's 5 starters stayed healthy the whole season dumbass. Lets take away Cleveland's 2 best relievers Beatencourt and Perez, now lets take away one of Cleveland's 2 best starters, We'll say CC. Now lets take away the rest of the staff, Westbrook and Byrd. Now lets replace them with good minor league pitchers, who get hurt themselves, so now you are pulling pitchers out of the bullpen to start. Now lets take away your second best hitter Hafner. While we're at it, lets shelve Peralta and Blake for a little time, oh and can't forget about Bartlett. Now lets have zero production out of LF and the replacement in LF gets injured.

So only 1 starter, and 3 position players stayed healthy the whole season.

Hey slammed, what happen to the Mets, lol!
what happened to the Mets? 13-0 thats what happened. 1 hitter that what happened. And Willie doesnt LET HIM COMPLETE THE GAME //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

If the Mets squeaked by like a 4-3 game I dont think the Mets have a great chance today. But last night really flipped the switch. THEY HAVE AWOKEN

Lee, who has been a quailty starter over the last few years came into this season as the #2 starter. Then he goes like 2-4 with an astronomical ERA and then gets hurt, comes back and raises his already astronomical ERA higher. Then he goes down to the minors comes back in the pen and some how raises it higher! So you may have injuries, but you take a good season from him of around 14 wins with what the rest of rotation has done and Cleveland would have run away with the divison eons ago and no doubt had the best record in baseball.

Then we had high hopes on Nixon signing him and he got hurt and came back and sucked it up. Why else do you think Franklin Gutierrez is in right field? He was in the minors at the beginning of the year.

Marte who was supposed to start this year had a big injury and we had to revamp the whole line-up just about. Thank god, I was never big on him, but Cleveland seems to be.

Then our 2nd baseman situation was horrible until Asdrubal Cabrera was brought up, but Barfield played the majority of the season.

Then you talk about our 2nd best hitter, which isnt Hafner like he is god almighty. I love him, but he has had a very dissappointing year. Guy had 40 homeruns last year and missed a shit ton of games. He has a healthy year and sucks! Sorry 24 homeruns from your power hitter is not cutting it!

Then you talk about Perez, again another person that was brought up late in the season, same with Jenson Lewis. Then Fultz who was hurt for a long time too.

My point is, not like we didnt have key injuries and players that were brought up. Hell our 5th starter is a rookie that took over Lee's spot a while ago. Granted he has pitched better than him, but just another rookie.

These are all the people brought up

Gutierrez

Cabrera

Lewis

Perez

Laffey

All of them starting or helping out in the bullpen. So dont give me a sap story about how you had too many injuries or rookies coming in. We have had our fair share of it too, just seems we have better talent up and coming.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
