Does detroit have a tough remaining schedule ahead of themselves?

detroit has a 5 game lead on chicago, and if detroit can sweep, that'll be an 8 game lead with 9 to play so detroit can clinch a playoff spot if they sweep chicago, which won't be easy.

big win for the tigers. tigers pretty much have a playoff spot secured. one nail in the white sox coffin, 2 more to go. oh and phat when you are laughing at the tigers going out in the first round, i'll be laughing even harder at the white sox who are at home watching the tigers loose in the first round

Why am I ignorant?? You guys were bantering back and forth about "he said, she said" bullshit. And I voiced my opinion about it killing the thread.

BTW, the Dodgers hit 4 straight homers in the bottom of the 9th (only been 2 other times in MLB history) to tie the game and Garciapara hit a walk off 2 run homer in the 10th. Now the Dodgers have the division lead back biaaatch.

yes unless oakland goes on a tear and detroit and minnesota loose. the tickets are first the first home game in the ALDS, so if detroit is the wild card it would be game 3, if they win the division, it'll be game 1
