chicago lost. the tigers just need to distance themselves from one of the teams. would really like to win the division though, but winning the wild card would really be a big leap in the right direction
White Sox are done. There pitching just isn't good enough. I hate to admit it, but there pitching has really fallen apart, and even when it's been good, they end up losing these one run games. Gotta be able to win those games to get into the playoffs. At least we won a championship ring.
exact opposite for detroit. pitching has been pretty good but the tigers haven't been coming with the big hits when they needed them. hopefully guillen's walk-off will jump start them. polanco is coming back soon, so the tigers can move infante to short and guillen to DH. haven't seen a tigers game in forever and i've heard guillen isn't moving to well with his hamstring injury. tigers schedule is easy. only tough series is 3 at chicago. detroit can use that to their advantage and basically clinch a playoff spot, or they'll let chicago back into the race. chicago still has to go to oakland, and end the season with 3 at minnesota. detroit's last 9 games are 6 against kansas city, and 3 against toronto

Sooo bad. And as ive been saying...inconsistant...they are up 7-0 right now in the 6th... WTF! They could be done though. Although they do have the experience with crunch time, thats for sure. All they were doing last year was pullin off all the close games...played a huge role in our season.

Also I guess you are just to retarded to understand about how the NL is just as competitive. Yes they are different leagues, different types of play and most is cause of the DH. Like I said, you put a DH in the NL and watch certain teams with a good DH hitter in the lineup getting better records. Or you could take the DH OUT all together and watch alot of records in the AL fall and the AL standings would be similar to the NL.

Dont know how that is one of the wierdest things you have seen in a game, but that shit happens all the time. Maybe he thought he wasnt gonna make it to home, but was too late to go there or back to 3rd.

I mean he turned 3rd, got half way, then just slowed down to a slowwwww trot...stopped, looked around like he didnt know what the hell was goin on (while someone else was already at third) then just trotted back towards third until they tagged him. He could have made it home before the ball even got to the cutoff man if he was goin all out.

tigers are done as well. i think the tigers make the playoffs since they have the lead and have a very easy schedule in which they can win without playing well. their pitching has been decent so usually they'll be in games
