Since I don't feel like finding your comment about Verlander. His era was 2.0x or 2.1x not to long ago, he is over 3.1x now. I said mid 3's to low 4's. Not high 4's or mid 4's. Get your facts straight. He gave up 8 ER against Cleveland not to long ago. But it's ok, I told you he wouldn't pitch as well once he hit around 160 innings and he hasn't. So he had a good start the other night. Big deal, that was just one. He's going to have good starts, and he's going to have bad starts, the only difference now is he's going to have more mediocre starts.
btw...his era for the month of august 6.83. He was at 131 ip entering August. Matching the most innings he's pitched in any one season. Go figure.
no his era was never 2.1, it was 2.79 and now it is 3.19. he pitched 6 scorless against anaheim and 1 earned in 7 innings last night. he was never 2.1, why don't you get your facts straight
and his era was 3.42 at the end of august. He's put together 2 good starts in a row to drop it to 3.19.
My bad 2.69 was his low, he nearly tacked on 1 er to that in a matter of 4 or 5 starts.

none of chicago's starters has and era under 4, but lets talk shit about verlander who has an era almost a full run lower then chicago's best starter
