polanco is the only hitter detroit has who can lay down a bunt and execute the hit and run. he is a near perfect #2 hitter. infante is a power hitter and hits in the middle of the lineup. you know shit since you think polanco was an all-star and crawford was a gold glover. where did you post polancos stats at 24? he had 5 home runs and 39 rbi's in 118 games at the age of 24. he batted 316 sure, but to say he is better then infante is ludacris. i quit arguing with you cause you are almost as ignorant as snb

this does not make sense at all. dimitri has played well since coming off the DL. he is the lefty power hitter the tigers need, and is a proven hitter and the tigers just realese him? something is odd here. dombrowski and leyland aren't telling us the whole story

dimitri was batting 300 with 7 home runs and 19 rbi's since returning from the DL in 32 games. if you prorate those numbers over a full season, that's 32 home runs and 88 rbi's so the excuse it was performance is bullshit. dimitri is a proven hitter. something happened in the club house that the tigers are telling.

well this year he hasn't been to good at first. he is an average 1st base at best. his defense has gotten worse each year. he's still a good bat. wouldn't be surprised to see him in oakland or anaheim
