**The MLB Thread**

well....according to chicago online voting....43% thing we will take 1 vs. detroit. 23% said 2 13.3% said 3, and 20% said 4......0% said sweep. wow....no faith in this city........

Shows you EXACTLY why at the beginning of last season we had around 18K in the crowd on average...this year we have about 38K on average..... LOTS OF FAIRWHETHER FANS FOR THE SOUTH SIDE!!!!! and I hate it...you can all go to hell.

It's going to come down to Chicago, Detroit, and Minnesota. Minnesota > Chicago; Chicago > Detroit; Detroit > Minnesota. Go figure. I guess it's going to come down to whoever wins the most games against the weaker teams.

Because they dont get as injuried as someone prone like Polanco. Ordonez was hurt a couple years and pudge was a little. Pudge is probably one of the most durable catchers out there, period. Go ahead argue that one too.l:rolleyes: Polanco did play in the minors. He was drafted in 1994 with St. Louis, but played in the minors 4 years, then was brought up. Thing is he was 24 in 2002 and had 4 years under his belt in the MLB. So he wasnt in the minors at the same age as Infante is right now. I dont know where you came up with that, or really what that has to do with any of this, but yeah.
When it comes down to it. I think the Tigers will be fine, just that I personnally think Polanco is the all around better player period. He is prone to injury and that is his only down fall. Now if it was only a couple years where he got hurt, then Detriot or some other team would have given him a big contract, but he is signed for 4 years with Detriot.

wow just wow. ordonez was coming off major knee surgery and there was question if he would ever really play again. look at his numbers in chicago. he was one of the most underrated, under appreciated hitters. if he was fully healthy in free agency, know way hell detroit would've been able to sign him. the yankees who were always looking for corner outfielders, would've snatched him up. pudge was also coming of serious back injuries. both these players couldn't get signed anywhere else, so they ended up in detroit.

yea thats right...silence...thats what I thought!!

and what happened....oh, Detroit loses again...and so do we!! Tigers took a little tougher loss though.
