Yes agree the Yankees might have the hitting, but have shit *** for pitching. So I dont see them keeping up with Boston, or hell for that matter Toronto. I really think it will between them 2 in that division.

i disagree/agree. yes the yankees pitching isn't the best but its not like their slouches. Their hitting will carry them to the playoffs, but probably not win the world series due to their starting pitching. Boston seems to have a solid staff but are questions of health. schilling is coming off a injured year and josh beckett well he's can never stay healthy. keith foukle as well, coming off a year where he struggled big time, probably due to injury but still questions there. also boston has to deal with the loss of johnny damon. that was a huge loss. as for toronto, just cause they went out and got great players doesn't mean anything. i honestly don't expect much from the blue jays besides a 3rd place finish the in the AL East. the yanks and boston will hold the top two positions in the east. but will the yanks make the playoffs? who knows, the AL is stacked with great teams.
