Get your parents to cosign, its really important to start building up credit early.

If you want me to be completely honest, I would rather not cosign with my parents.

I think that I have been with Wachovia for long enough, plus ive kept a fairly large balance for my age since ive had the account, to be able to be accepted for a CC by myself, especially just a STUDENT card (i'll only be using it to pay for gas to establish some credit).

I just have to call them and talk to the CC department about it, which ive been neglecting to do... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I work at a mailroom in a Bank of America office complex. Every day, I open envelopes and sort the contents for 6 hours, and then sort other various papers for the rest of the day.
Today, since it's the beginning of the month, we got a fuck ton of loans to close, and as I as unloading the FedEx truck, 99% of me wanted to quit. No matter what job I'm doing, be it making smoothies, instlaling, or sorting loans, I always do my best, because IMO, any less is a waste. But today just broke my whole attitude. For 3 months, I've been giving this job my all, and trying to trick myself into thinking it's not too bad. I just can't do it anymore. Good thing is, my last day is next Friday, because I'm going back up to school.

I'm going to try to get a job at a shop up in Arkansas when I get up there. I want to try to either sell or install audio. When I was an installer, it was a job I looked forward to every day. I enjoyed it, it was a challenge, time passed quickly, and I had a good sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. None of the aforementioned qualities apply to my current job.

In other news, I paid off my credit card today. I ran up a nice $1100 debt over last semester, and have spent all summer paying it off. Mainly because I, the dumbass, kept using it. Credit cards ****. This one's going in the trash.

But I've learned they'll get you out of little jams, only to put you in a bigger one later.
IF you leave a balance on it, true.

I usually pay my shit off the second I get it bill, if you cant do that, dont charge. Paying it payments is were the card starts to dig you into a hole. You work at a bank, you know that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
