ok i retract my statement. MOST horror movies are shit. se7en is the shit btw. i never really saw the first saw but saw 2 was pretty good. different plot than alot of the more mainstream movies nowadays. i stand corrected.

80's horror flicks are somewhat boring but well done IMO... the original Halloween.. Psycho... house on haunted hill... ALL were well made, but are boring to modern viewers

house on haunted hill was a great movie. what's the movie with the bates motel and the guy who acts as his dead mother and all that? that was a great series of movies.

that's what i thought but i wasn't sure. i was impressed with that series actually.

Yeah originality is scarce these days which is sad. Rob Zombie tries to be original, but his movies are just stupid and ****. Saw and Saw II are both very good movies, and very original, cant forget Sixth Since, that movie kind of got the whole twisted ending thing rolling IMO

The only Horror film ive liked in recent years was the first "Saw" movie..."Saw 2" was good, but sequals usually dont live up to the 1st.

Hell yeah, they just dont make em at all like they used to. The Hills Have Eyes is one of the best I think, they better not **** it up.
