The Great Tease Thread (glassed door panels)

I also redid the rear panels. Decided to go with just a 6.5 in the rear panel. The 8 will go somewhere yet to be determined.

I also have the rear panels covered and ready for resin, but I had to clean up fast and dip out. Pics tomorrow. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

i wish i could do this to my doors, but i dont feel comfertable doing it the same way again (im redoing mine)

it came out looking great, but i would have to cut out a large portion of the door frame, and i dont wanna do that - espically since a few of the mounts are there.

good thing i had a spare //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

are you worried at all that the resin wont stick to the ABS?

Not shown are holes around the edges for the resin to get ahold of. I can get a pic of that if you would like to see my technique. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

sexy fleece you got there.

It is actually a lycra/polyester blend.

Other wise called bathing suit material in the fabric shop. Got it off the clearance shelf.

This particular pattern is about an 1/8" thick and very stretchy.

I also got a nice smily face print that isn't as thick and it stretches twice as much. Use that for kicks and consoles.

Now back to progress. Or is it a lack of it?

At least i got something done.

Ran out of resin. Thought I had 2 gallons. I was wrong.

But here is what 1 gallon will cover good and thick.

That is all till i go get some more resin. Since I have other stuff to do, it may be a couple days. I don't know.

And to those who are gonna mention something about the missing pics on page 1, I deleted them off my host to conserve room since I changed the layout. Pardon my dust. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
