The ColumbusVinyl.com 07 Scion tC; Debadged with new graphics.

I'm looking at the ASA JH9 (or maybe the 18"ers) and a drop; I"ll check those out though. I don't wanna be the next guy with black wheels and a chrome lip, though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if youre trying to attract business you only need the windshield logos and some sick graphic running down the sides so ppl go //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

right now it looks like youre getting paid by columbusvinyl.com or youre a guy with a cutting machine and poor taste.

A company show car based on advertising is supposed to show the extreme ability of the company. Since you are a vinyl company, why don't you cover the whole car in vinyl? You can create any designs you want and cut them out in sheets to fit different parts of the car. Apply them and really show off your company's ability. It'll also protect the paint.

I had considered wrapping the car, but if I do that I'll want to do it properly (printed, laminated vinyl.)

The machines that'll print in photoquality in a reasonable width are about eighty thousand bucks.

So, that eliminates wrapping the vehicle for now.

Anyway, I stripped it some time ago and will start over when the right concept hits. I did pick up the JH8 wheels; tinting scheduled for the 26th, and dropsprings to come.

The front grille is kinda tricky.

There are grilles by Figure LLC, but they are the chrome billet-bars type, and they actually go over the stock griille.

Grillecraft-style grills are out there as well, but I like the wider honeycomb look of the stock grille.

With any luck, I'll be able to buy another lower-grille (no badge there) and trim it up to fit the upper-grille portion. Also want to delete that chrome ring around the stock upper grille, or at least black it out.

There are blank upper grilles on eBay, but the mesh isn't the same. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

The back emblem is inset, so it has to be replaced with something. The other option is to remove that panel, and have it shaved-and-painted.. Not worth it IMO.

There are carbon-fiber panel replacements, but they're even tackier than my original graphics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

Looking back at the pictures, it wasn't THAT bad. But everyone's an elitist on the 'net, so //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I can graph- and un-graph the car all day without breaking the bank, so I'll throw some stuff back up from time to time. Sure, if it were a showcar, the idea would be to make it as impressive as possible.

But it's just an attention getter for the company -- so the more frequently it changes, the more memorable it becomes.

As far as being 'a guy with a plotter and poor taste'.. I'll be that. I never did claim to be great.

Lighten up, the whole world is temporary. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

So, who hates the wheels? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Dont hate the wheels, but deffintley needs a serious drop, but hey so does mine and I doubt I will get to it this year.

Still not big on the graphics on the car. The window is cool, bnt since the world is temporary then **** what I said, lol! I wish I could think like that.

I still like the graphics that you had on there. I never had a problem with them. I liked the font. However, I don't know what the abilities of your company is. I wasn't aware that screen printed vinyl costs that much to produce. Since the machine costs so much for screen print, why don't you try some plotted designs on your machine that you have now? I'm sure you can still wrap the front in silver flames or something with your logo cut out of it on the hood. It would still look more interesting.

screen printing is a very different process //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Here's a used printer, bidding starts at $8,900.

I can't bring myself to do flames, and if one more person asks me to do some gt stripes for them I'll launch this thing out the window //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
