Baby steps. I don't think those other drugs will continue to be anywhere near as much of a problem once weed is out of the way. The fact that it is illegal is what makes it a 'gateway' drug at all to the harder ones. You feel like you're already doing something illegal, why not try some more stuff, plus dealers who sell harder drugs as well as weed will often push the harder ones on their weed buyers.

QFT, i probably never would've done half the drugs i've done if there wasn't a drug dealer that offered. take the dealer out of the picture and problem solved, or at least a big portion of it.

Why would I buy homegrown plus take a chance of being arrested when I can buy the best hydro avail legally from the gov? There are good hydro homegrowns do not get me wrong but head to Canada or Amsterdam and smoke there homegrown.. Diff league.

There's not as much (if any in some drugs) reason to legalize.

There's enough prescription opiates, no need to legalize heroin. There are better topical anesthetics than coke. Both are far too addicting and deadly to completely legalize. MDMA was thought to have some therapeutic value.

Some psychedelics have the potential for psychotherapy use, but I don't think any research has been done in a long time, thanks to our government. At most these could be cleared for use by doctors, but not mainstream.

Marijuana just has many benefits behind it. Hemp can be used to make **** near anything, has quite a bit of medicinal value, and you can't forget recreational use. Not to mention it would create a lot of new jobs and bring in a lot of money. It is also VERY safe in comparison to alcohol, tobacco, and other illegal substances.
