Text messaging

I've been with AT&T now Cingular for quite some time now and every so often I can't either send txt's msgs nor get any....such as the other day, my wife called my cell and asked if I got any of her messages. I replied with a no. I think Cingular is having problems....I saw another thread about this topic at Termpro. Anyone else experiencing this problem?!

maybe its when you have an analog signal instead of digital?

digital phones **** *** for service, i switched back today to a older phone and it works way better... i asked version about this and they said older phones have twice as much signal power than newer digital phones

My texts are more reliable than my phone calls, so no Im not having a problem texting.

cingular texting is the worst....i use to recieve text up to 5 hours late. I went into a store and they said that a 1-2 hour delay is normal. i told him i was looking at 5 hours and his only suggestion was to replace my battery wtf... and matt (eclipse5482) is right about verizon that bit ch gets service everywhere
