looking to find the resonant frequency of each customers car and build boxes based on that. they can save themselves some money trying to get loud that way. what program are you talking about though?
Not trying to discourage you buying a meter and I don't know about your area but to be honest, not too many people are gonna be interested in paying to have that much preliminary work done.
I'd concentrate on learning box building and buying tools that will facilitate fast and accurate building and I'd let the business pay for luxuries like a Termlab as it profits.

i appreciate your input i do. shows that people actually still do care about others, but were not just going to be any business. we would rather sell a system to somebody that is perfect for there car. if we can save them money by a box that is to the exact specs of there car and can feed it less power to get the same results as a box that is not as well built and you have to get more power to get the same results they can save money that way. We live in an area of wealth and with the prices of the other 2 other store front competitors, there not going to stand a chance against us. they do **** installs crazy prices for example alpine type r 12 is 230$ before tax and there lack of knowledge and professionalism there going to feel it when we open up

and on top of it me and my partner have the ambition to get where we need to go
On a daily/everyday customer install tuning the box to the cars peak is dumb.... Should be tuned based on what's going to be mostly played ... Not what the car does best at ... But besides that grabbing a tl is a good idea renting it out / shows alone should make it more then worth it
gotta have a professional mic with that TL too. grab some audio technicas.

yeah i can understand what your saying. but if your a customer and your looking for the most amount of bass for your dollar which in this economy is what most people are looking for than i think it could really come in handy and people will be able to save money trying to get loud

I hear ya man ... Gotta be a mixture .. All I was saying is if the cars peaking at 60hrtz and he listens to rap all day tuning a box anywhere near that high ain't gunna help him out ya know .. I guess that's a easier way to look at it .. Either way sounds like you guys have a good game plan together I wish you guys the best of luck .. Also look into a new spl lab maybe I just borrowed one from a buddy the USB model and it's very nice and real user friendly

is the spl lab the one they use in comps or no? and if it does the same job n is a decent amount cheaper than i would really like to look into it
