depends on if he has the updates, but they work exactly the same when it comes to PCs/laptops u use them with

no. all the termlab units are pretty much the same as far as software goes. matter of fact any termlab unit can get the new update and work on any other old software as well. I just talked to their tech guy 2 days ago and he confirmed this

I just mean a fluxuation between Db readings, like a 155 on a USB and 153 on a AC, does that happen ? I might get this instead of a USB.

no they don't read any different this unit has been updated. some meters are within a tenth or .2 of eachother but thats mainly from meter placement.

there is a difference from meter too meter some as much as 1 db.also you have to pay wyane harris $100 to transfer the customer service and to get updates.

he got tired of helping people when they bought a used meter. so that is why he charge's people $100
