Terk XM Radio

I cannot figure out why but every once in a while it seems like my XM radio quits working. I have a pionner hu and am using the terk adapters to make it work. I keep the antenna on the dash, but 99% of the time there isn't a problem with the signal (only in tunnels and garages but I believe it would also fail mounted outside the car) Has anyone else had such problems with their terk setup? My adapter are located in the glove box, perhaps it is getting too hot? Any ideas or suggestions? I am thinking about trying to go with the pioneer unit. I am not sure with the "terk" is junk or not.

How does it quit working? Displaying no signal, antenna, etc.?

It doesn't do anything...it just says XM RADIO on this display where normally the artist would display

Nope. It just does it sometimes. I think there is a wire loose inside the module. When I wiggle the wires, it comes on sometimes. However, both items are connected while in my hand. I am not sure what the deal is.

Could be where it's mounted, but I doubt that.

Make sure the cable is plugged into the radio good, and make sure the pwr/gnd is also adequate.
