besthi thing about this thread is where you work...how do they make that texas ranch? im going to pm you...second makes no point to me to have a million dollar SQ type sub but run $30.00 door speakers. second its not really loud to be honest and i really cant see why you have over 1,000 post and still bought this jl stuff. while they dont make bad products you have been here long enough to.....know you could have bought something for way less to give you the same result....either way im sure it sounds decent and im sure all the regular locals think its pretty loud.....

People thought my two 12's (in sealed 0.5 cube prefabs on a 100W amp with 10 gauge power and 16 gauge ground) each was loud...120-125 dB ftw?

i honestly don't give a shit about price dude. JL is one of the best sounding subs out there. I've had kenwood, kicker, and alpine in my car alone and it didn't come close to JL SQ.

Kenwood ****ING SUCKS.. well sub wise

Kicker sounds like *** imo and gives he headaches..

and Type R's are no where near SQ.

I would spent that $1,000 on alot more shit than a Sub/amp.. QUeer

First its all in the enclosure. 90% of SQ is in the install.

My DC Audio Level 4 15" and my Cadence amp cost 1/4 of the price and hit higher TL numbers and sound much better.

I love my JL 12w6v2. I have no problem buying JL subs. But for the JL amps. Shit is deff over priced and i will look somewhere else.

After doing alot of research here, i was planning on buying 15" DC lv4 XL with AQ2200. But got a good price on 2 JL 10w7, SO it JL sub once again! (which im pretty happy about)

I think the first quesion that should have been asked is...how much did you spend on it all?

If you didn't care about price and wanted sound quality, you could have bought an Fi Q and an Elemental Designs nine.1, and had better sound quality, and probably the same output. It would probably have cost less too, but that's besides the fact.
