Telephone Credit Card Scam

A while back I got a phone call from a woman who is supposedly from my credit card company. They're offering a special plan with free insurance blah, blah, blah, it'll only take a quick minute to sign me up. I say whatever, it's free. To verify who I am she asks for the last four digits of my card. Well I have both a visa and mastercard & she didn't state which so I asked. She has an obvious hesitation and says visa. First alert something is fishy. So I give her the last four and then she asks for the rest of the #s. Second alert something is fishy. I'm like what do you need them for? She gives me something about verifying my card which I questioned and I get a CLICK! B!tch hung up on me. Total scam to get my card #s.

I was thinking who would be stupid enough to just give their credit card #s freely over the phone and then I saw it on our local news how several local people had been taken by this scam. Seriously?!?

people are fckin broke these dayz. you can expect the scam spamming fcks to really put it into high gear.

I've been getting more and more spam from legit and non-legit company's everyday

ive been getting calls like this every other week now. i dont even let them start talking. when i hear they calling on be half of Bank of america i tell them im not interested and hang up.
