Don't worry about that! User X just has so much going on right now but they <em>always</em> make good on their deals so quit worrying....you'll get paid! Eventually..."</p><p></p><p>Does this little plan sound completely ignorant? Sound like something that no reasonable person in the world would ever agree to?</p><p></p><p>Certainly it does!</p><p></p><p>With that in mind - who in the <strong>f</strong>u<strong>ck </strong>do you people think you are telling the buyer that he has no reason to be upset now that the seller has his $1000 and the buyer has nothing three weeks later? Get a freggin' clue.</p><p></p><p>Anyone who is familiar with my presence here on the forum ought to know I take a very dim view of shoddy trading practices. Once the buyer has paid in full then pretty much their end of the deal is <strong>done</strong>. After that point the seller needs to get off of his duff and ship the gear out. Or at the very least make it very clear in the For Sale ad that this is going to be the way things are going to be and allow the buyer to make a purchasing decision based on full disclosure, huh?</p><p></p><p>I'd wager that if there was a proviso in the ad stating that "Once I have your money due to reasons either completely beyond my control or totally within my control your bought gear will <em>not</em> ship out quickly. It will, without a doubt, eventually ship but I make no promises as to when that might occur."</p><p></p><p>Think too many folks would be willing to make that purchase knowing that beforehand? Certainly not. Why would they?!?</p><p></p><p>Flip - that statement about $1000 not being a lot of money was rather stupid, dude.</p><p></p><p>My parents are millionaires. (not an exaggeration)</p><p></p><p>Dad thinks very little about writing 5 or 6-figure checks when Momma gets it in her head that she wants something. I can absolutely guarantee he'd be hopping mad if he sent someone a grand and whatever that grand was supposed to be buying wasn't soon forthcoming.</p><p></p><p>It doesn't matter if the purchase price is ten dollars, a thousand dollars, a million dollars, or a measly twenty cents.</p><p></p><p>Once the seller has been paid they need to ship out the purchased item(s) - and right quick.
