I've got a xray 007 i never ran.

I also just threw away like 500$ in batteries..

and i'm waiting for a brushless esc to be returned from REEDY.. to put back into my $1000 rc18b..

this one did 98.8 MPH and was still climbing, would have gone faster if i had more road.

THAT however was with my buddies Lipo battery setup... never checked it with the NiMh batteries. As it sits it is under powered, comparable to running and HDC318 on say a P1500.1 there is a decent amount going to it but no where near its limit. IIRC this motor can handle 16V+ and the NiMH is like 8v~... the Lipo setup it did 98.8mph on was a 4-cell so 14.8V

Personaly i wouldn't go anymore than a 4-cell lipo or a 16-sell NiMH (but that would be HEAVY)
