TDX D9 or ?

Hello there all, i've done some searching and thinking, and rethinking. Now its just down to decideing(sp). I know i have to get low with my bass nothing feels better, but i want to stay clean with things. As if no one here has heard that before. So i've been seriously looking at the TDX D9 seems to have a loyal following. Before i buy because i take a long time to decide anything. I was hoping to get some second opinions and some other woofer options. Havent heard really how it compares to the new comers FI, SI, ect.....

My power source,

Soundstream VGA 800.2

2 X 200 RMS 4 Ohm

2 X 400 RMS 2 Ohm

1 X 800 RMS 4 Ohm Mono

HU is Alpine's 9851

Ok so now all i need you guys to do is give me some other options or tell me to stick with it. Pretty much make my decision harder which is ok cause i like it that way.

i would go with a w6v2 ported over a d9.

Ha you really hate diamond dont ya bri. lol you sure dont waver in your opinion. I read your post in a coupe threads researching the tdx. I dont have any problem using JL ever execpt when it comes time to buy what i want lol. So thanks ill note that what it may come down to is what i can find cheaper. Classifieds ebay ect... Thanks for your input.

I would definitely go with the d9. Its the cleanest and loudest sub ive owned. Ive owned the DA CM3's, D3's, D6's, jl W6's and a W7, I gotta tell ya this sub definitely beats them in my opinion. Ive hit 147.3db with one d9 in a 4.2 cubic foot box in my integra with one 12.

I happen to know that d9s are louder than w6v2, due to the fact that I have them and have heard my friends w6v2, as far as the W7s go.... well I'm not going to go there b.c. I'm a diamond owner lol. Now when it comes to sq, W6v2 own pretty much any sub I've ever heard. Either way you can't go wrong, both sound good and get pretty loud. I think you have the right idea as far as go for the cheaper ones.

i too have had both the d9/tdx and the w6v2, and the w7 if you do want to go there.
