I would i be able to run an orion 2500 to one of these 15's, will they be able to handle around 2kw daily? If so what would be a good size ported box and tuning freq. for these subs?

be specific and maybe give the t/s if you have it

u can runt it with anyone, they only get as much power as u let the amp, so set it correctly and you'll be fine

not all of them are the same....what surrround and cone is your 3hp going to have?

i highly reccomend the carbonfiber/nomex cone, along with the highroll surround

but hey, thats just my opinion.

yep id recommend that cone with the aluminum dustcap, it looks really good....and you'd have to ask about there surround they have but the highroll is a nice one

its really neat cuz its really dark then the bright aluminum in the middle. speakerman525 over on sd.com has that kinda of cone/surround for his LMT's

thats what i was gonna get on my 2 - 12'' 3hp's but i think im decided i dont want them anymore.

****. should be pretty god **** loud.

box size is one of the main reasons i didnt wanna run the 2 - 12's

there kinda power hungry too...and they are the *most* efficient.

my 15 is one hell of a sub though...i just wish it had that sweet black cone, it just looks badass. haha.

My tc3hp is hooked up to my orion 2500d and it sounds great. Just watch your gains and you should be fine. Moe lester is going to build me a new box, going to add some plexi on the top. ill post pics when i get it.

How would a 3HP's power handling compare to a XXX because i know that you can run a XXX 15 safely off an Orion 2500. Talking about the 3HP's you guys mentioned.
