[QUOTE="T3mpest, post: 8192105, member: 560148"] There is no better. I've been over this until I'm blue in the face and your still not getting it. What box are you going to put this thing in? You can't fit passive radiators and you can't fit ported. I already explained that in the last thread, which you stopped replying to when you realized 2 ports less than 1inch wide wasn't going to cut it for a 15 on 2kw. If your going sealed with it, leave it alone because it's very well built for that already. You could get better performance from a single 12 ported if you wanted to go that way and there are plenty off the shelf options to choose from. You looking at spending how much on this speaker? I bet you the recone for this thing to make it useable will cost you a few hundred on top of it, especially by the time you get a hold of a 12inch basket you probably in the $300+range, dont' quote me but that's my guess.. Even an off the shelf recone is $100 by the time you ship it both ways. Your going to need to get a basket which cost a bit and then all custom soft parts. I assume your paying 500 minimum for your 5200, so your looking at a 700+ dollar speaker when it's all said and done and no it will still not be the 'best" use of your 700 by a longshot. Your still trying to build you supercar with the fastest 0-60 you can get, when it looks like your terrain may be curvy or even offroad. Stop trying to build a speaker and build a system. It's a combo of the box car and speaker, right now your just mentally ************ and wasting money. Sorry if I'm coming off as rude but I know you want this thing to perform well and your really going about it the wrong way and are wasting a lot of time and money, which is frustrating to watch.
