Good job on the write up. Here is my issue though. Don't get me wrong, I HATE to pay taxes, and yes some go to the people that like to live in buildings built with our taxes (PJ's), and the type of people who do not work and get our funds. BUT, we do need to have a military, and a strong one at that. Our roads are built from the taxes we pay as well. Not federal but state. All in all, taxes should be decreased, and pay only what needs to be paid, not give my money to people who have never worked a day in their life. OR SEND TO OTHER FVCKING COUNTRIES! That is what pisses me off the most. Who cares if people are dying in other countries.

How about you go into the part that the only true fair tax system would be an even one? None of this bracket crap. Pushing up taxes on the rich is part of what fuels this gap between the rich and poor.
I even think it's hilarious when people talk about taxing the rich more. You can only tax them so much before they will decide to pay absolutely none of it...legally.

I was hearing that not one cent from the income tax is given back to the public but is instead for paying off the interest that is procured when buying money from the federal reserve.

You should. The welfare of the US is dependant on the welfare of the world.

why dont you move to a country that doesnt have taxes? im sure theres a nice mud hut with a dirt floor, no driveway, lawn, running water or electricity and only a bucket to piss in somewhere that will fit your tastes.

I asked my parents what their income tax was back then..around 15%, and the infrastructure was already there. home, water, electricity? you pay for that! only in nyc does the con edison ceo take a 3 mill bonus for running an ancient grid.. blackouts, sleeping workers, city steampipe explosion & grate electrocution killing ppl, biggest rate hike in history? dont get me started on the MTA and DOT.

Income tax UP TO 30%, sales tax 8.25, property tax is an arm, gas tax, tobacco tax $9 A PACK!, bridges and tunnels $10, $125 per parking ticket for crying out loud. Oh but wait the city just 'invested' 4 million taxpayer dollars to design..not build.. DESIGN the paratrooper perch ride YIPPEE which is a miniscule part of the new Coney Island project that is moving so slow that my future kids wont get to enjoy it.

Our new governor David Patterson had to use Albany money to pay for a Motel 6 to bang some broad. If he cant reach into his own pocket for that.. maybe were the blind ones.
