I am having trouble with my 2008 shevy silverado ext cab the door and rear speakers will go on and off by themselves i think there is a short but i am not sure would i need to check in the radio or the speakers themselves the tweeters always work in the fron ton the front dash bars

if they are factory speakers they are probably shot...GM is bad about using pretty much crap speakers...If aftermarket you have a bad connection or wrong ohm load for your deck

The factory tweeters are of decent quality for deck power they are made by Onkyo...for GM but most of the GM full range are made in Mexico which is worse than China
