Tang Bang 6.5" for small room

ok, i have an old 2-channel receiver that puts out 70rms each @6ohm , and can go to 4ohm no prob. i tried it!!

i want to hook up 2 subs too it as I want some low end in my room!

i thought getting the Tang Bang 6.5"

btw they look so freakin great

ive already made a box plan for it, itll be 2.1cu.ft @ 33hz for each 6.5

and theyll be like floor standing enclosure..!!sub up and port down 40inch tall(its for my small room)

u guys think i would get reasonable low-end with 2tangbang 6.5 in these enclosure or it isnt worth it?(I know its only 6.5", but i dont have the power for a bigger sub nor i want to spend..6.5" in large enclosure is the best i can do!!i think)

I would agree for a sub in home theater you need it to be really really low......

maybe @ 30hz wood make a good mix of music and movie??

and wut do you think about the driver(tangbang6.5")

I did a small 2.1 setup using a TangBand 8" and the Dayton 100W amp. The biggest problem I had in the box design was the god awful impedance spikes. My box is .75ft^3 at a wayyy to high 34hz. I'm going to redo it at 1ft^3 at 30hz...

There's a project on PE's website where a guy used 4 6.5" drivers off a 500W plate. Maybe you should check it out.
