Strictly as a sub bass driver which would you think is the overall best?

In the rear deck of a sedan with a driver in each of the stock 6x9 openings enclosed of course...not IB

I've never heard either but I've read numerous threads about them both but have never really seen the two compared...

With my application i would run 2 drivers which would allow my power options to be...

150@2 ohms x2 for the EU700

75@4 ohms x2 for the Tang Band

Tang Band has some nice looking 6x9's ...I like the way the Neo version looks..

problem with those 6x9's is that they are 8 ohms...

I agree i think I like the look/build quality of the 6.5 better.

only about 70 watts per woofer. i need to get a new amp but it does the trick for now.150 and those things will yank.

I replaced the stock 6x9's just like your looking to do and sealed the gap.

those eu-700s will surprise u, i dont know if id mount them in the rear deck for sub duty though. The pair i had on 300 watts was surprisingly loud, the people i blind demo them for swore they were 10s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. I now picked up 4 of my bug.

The Tang Band W69-1436 6x9 is a 4 ohm neo subwoofer...88 sensitivity 80w RMS 160w max

Not being used for sub duty, just midbass..and yes you're right,they will surprise you.

I've owned several EU-700's and they have always surprised me. I still haven't tested a sealed setup vs. a ported setup yet,but netierh one seems louder than the other.
