i am thinking of using a set of these in the front of my car in custom kick boxes, and my question is, how small can i make these boxes if i only have to get to about 50-60hz (will be rolled off electronically 18db/octave). i might go with the 5" ones due to lack of space, but they should do SOMETHING up front in the 60-300hz midbass range. im going to be using a coustic XM6 to do the bandpass on the midbasses. thanks again helotaxi for the tip on that one, will work nicely. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

anyways, any feedback on micro-sized boxes for the TB subs? (sealed boxes)

thanks in advance. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Are those:

5 1/4" W5-1138SA

6" W6-1139SG

Tang Bang Neo Subwoofers in the 2007 Parts Express Catalog page 187?

W5 should have an F3 at 68Hz in a 0.19 ft^3 box

W6 should have an F3 at 70Hz in a 0.20 ft^3 box

According to thier woofer chart on pages 165-167. Hard to know exactly how much bigger of a box to make for a 50-60Hz F3 without knowing woofer displacements, though.
