Who is using one?

Why?

What kind of applications benefit most (if this question can even be answered lol)?

how does one go about deciding on dimensions, etc?

i'm interested in trying one for my setup...

Fi Q 12" w/BP

2.24cuft@34hz

hifonics 1600d (putting out 12-1300w rms)

sub back/port back

I did a search and came up with a few threads, but i would really just like to be able to ask my own qeustions regarding the loading walls.

TIA!

your doing a wall but you are doing sub and port back? are you serious?
No, a "loading wall" is not a "wall" I hope:laugh:

It's a piece of board or plexi mounted a few inches

in front of the subs. The subs are supposed to

sound deeper and louder to the ear.

I think trial and error is all your going to get. There was a manufacturer

(maybe DD) that recommended them on a certain woofer. If you can figure

out who that was and what the recommendations were, that would be a place

to start.

I messed with something like it in my trunk, my idea was an angled 3/4" board to

sit in front of the rear wall and redirect the VBA up towards my 6x9 holes. I thought

it would lessen the vibration of my license plate too.

Well it did make the bass deeper and louder to the ear and also INCREASED my

license plate vibration:crazy:

It was big and ugly, mostly a fun experiment. I wanted my little bit of trunk

back. I never metered it, I got no backup other than my ears.

so if i wanted to get some plexi to try this with, what thickness would be recommended?

thanks to all who have answered you have been helpful //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
