Sounds like you need more power going to the midbass, Id reccomend a bigger amp for the midbass because turning up the gain will just make them distort quicker. It will make them louder in relation to the other speakers but youre never going to get more than you already have by just turning the gain up. You need a bigger amp if you want that kind of volume, otherwise adjust the other speakers/subs so you have the same sound profile by turning the other speakers down and keeping the mid bass set where it is. You want to match the gain to your head unit or line out converter, whatever you have, and then you can adjust levels by turning the gain DOWN to achieve the sound you want. Turning it up will only limit the effective range of the volume knob... aka you are losing the ability to dial in the volume you'd like to listen at... the goal is to be able to turn the volume ALL the way up until the source starts to distort, that way you have complete control over your system. What you are looking for will come from a bigger amplifier, or possibly turning the other speakers down if you are okay with the current volume. You can adjust the speakers in relation to one another to achieve that sound but you will not get the spl without more power to back it!
