Times have changed
Anyone see it yet? I've always been a fan of political thrillers. Syriana was pretty decent overall. The beginning started out sort of slow, but it starts getting really interesting really quickly. You have to sort of have a background knowledge of past and present mid-eastern conflicts to get the grip of the movie.
The only thing I disliked is how they didn't really develop the characters well. There was 4 poorly developed sub-plots that meshed in together. It's almost like the writers expected you to know each character's MO by their job title, ethnicity or political position, without really explaining how they would like them to be viewed.
