Synthetic Motor oils.

I asked because I normally use Super Tech full synthetic on my Grand Caravan with 125,000 miles. But, was told by my neighbor that I should use Amsoil, because it is a better oil, especially for my van. But, with mobile, castrol, valvoline, pennzoil, etc you would go crazy trying to figure it out. I usually change every 2500 to 3000. I am just trying to keep the ole girl float'in with the high miles, but also give the best for the buck. Any one heard or try this Amsoil.

Thanks

Keep in mind, the oil can last that long, but unless you are using some of the best filters out there (K&N is probably one of the best oil filters on the market), you can keep using the same synthetic for quite a few miles, but filters usually cant go much longer than 7500 before they need to be changed. An oil analysis should let you know if you're changing too soon or not. Run a Google on Blackstone Labs and they'll get you all the necessary stuff to do an oil analysis.

Also, http://www.bobistheoilguy.com is a site with more info on this stuff than you can shake a stick at.
