A friend of mine has been looking for a nice 12 that can handle 1000rms, so i told him about the sx. I havent heard it, but i mentioned that its pretty much all you guys talk about around here, and it looks nice. So today he ordered one directly from re. Hope this is as good as everyone says it is.

Hes not trying to win spl competitions u idiot! If so then maybe he would have got that sub. Read the post, and notice how i said he needs a good sub that can handle 1000 watts. The solo x more than likely wouldnt perform good on 1000 watts as an sx would.
