i'm a pharmacy tech and all I had to deal with today are hysteric nut jobs. We only have 3 capsules of Tamiflu 75 left and no suspension left. I also keep getting asked if we have any facemasks available.

I even had a physician come in and hoard like 9 bottles just for his family. It really is getting ridiculous. I shouldn't really complain, though. At least we're depleting our stock that's been sitting on the shelf forever. Most of it expires in June anyways lol.

One of the major problems surrounding this "pandemic" is not only the media hype, but also the fact that no ones has built up a natural immunity to this strain of the flu virus like they have to the normal flu virus. That is why anyone who comes in contact with it is very likely to contract it. Another problem is even before you show signs of having the virus you are already spreading it. It starts spreading 2 days before you show any symptoms. That is why they are having a hard time controlling this.
