I have the TMA 500.1 it does 500x1@2ohm and 340x1@4ohm I have two MTX 12" 7500s DVC 4ohm rms is about 400-500 I hooked both up sealed @ 4ohm in comparison to 1 sealed @ 2ohm and the single 12" w/500rms was louder than the two 12"s with 340rms I ran the 1 12" until i had money to buy a new amp which hasnt quiet happened yet. I want to get an amp that does about 1k rms @ 1ohm....... I tried my luck at building a 4cuft box tuned to 38hz today and was semi-sucessful. There were a couple of gaps but were easily filled with caulk and i actually used some wood filler. (hope that is ok) The box pretty much takes up my entire trunk and is going to be sealed off facing the cabin of my car. I installed it today and wired them together with a final ohm load of 4 ohm so i am putting only 340rms total to the two subs in this box. It is WAY louder than the single 12" sealed with 500rms and killed them sealed with 340rms... I was just super happy that my box turned out ok and am very anxious to either rebuild the box for my next car and or get 500rms going to both of them instead of only 170rms to them!!! I cannot imagine how loud they will be.
